The Kirchhalden School: children running for children

A charity run. The children of Stuttgart’s Kirchhalden School run, the parents and grandparents donate. A certain amount is awarded for each round.

Half of the proceeds go to the school’s support association and half to an organization chosen by the children themselves. This year, the primary school pupils decided to support the children in Karakoulle. They raised 3211.50 euros and handed over the money to “die Hoffnungsmacher”. This will enable us to buy teaching materials and finance the construction of a sports field and a school garden. The children in Karakoulle thanked us in their own way.
